A Fresh Start

There is something refreshing about the idea of a fresh start; the absence of prior stigmas or how things are "usually done". I am not a believer in waiting for a specific date to make changes, but I do believe in taking advantage of every opportunity that presents itself to reflect on where our life is and where we would like to see it. In my reflection, I have realized how much of a schedule person I am. If I don't have a plan, I fail. Simple as that. If I do have a plan, I am much more likely to stay on track and reach my goals. It still takes effort, but the easier I can make it on myself, the better! This week, I went online searching for a blank schedule to fill for myself. I found one on www.kristensguide.com. I printed it out and began to fill in the slots. I liked this one because there is plenty room for 15 minute increments and it is very customizable. I am calling this week my trial week. I am seeing how well the schedule works for me. I am focusing on meal prep and getting my eating schedule down. Being at a store all day doesn't allow me to forget my food! Yesterday, I spent time cooking for the week and I am finishing up this morning. Wild caught Cod, free-range chicken breasts, lots of organic veggies, organic sweet potatoes, organic quinoa, pumpkin protein bars, turkey protein muffins... I like to prepare as much food as I can ahead of time so that I have every opportunity to make very good food choices. I will be sharing more about my make ahead meals in the future. Each Monday, you can be prepared to read a blog post from me. If you have any questions or suggested topics, please feel free to comment on here or on our Facebook page. I have got to stick to my schedule so I need to finish up here. Oh yeah, Thursday January 5 at 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM we have a Resolution Celebration and Weight Loss Product Seminar. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend! Have a health-filled day!
